Excellent stuff Macles. Really useful adviceI do have one question though. Why would anyone buy an Aspire ONE and then want to install windows on it :?: ? now come on !!!

 

better yet. show me where i can buy a aa1 with the specs i want AND for a cheap price and i'm all over it like stink on you know. and yes. the price is nice and fun to mess with if you know what your doing. and yes it does suck when things go wrong unlike normal toys. i've gone through the dead screen and d2d recovery. it WASSS a pain to put back to specs. but easily remedied now i know what to do. WITHOUT having to buy a restore cd. i much prefer vista as it was much faster then xp. not just normal use but other things too. but the price of buying a vista just isn't worth it. unless someone knows a way around the activation SH==. so i can use the cd i have and still be able to download what i might need and have it pass msfts GENUINE VALIDATION. i can stick with xp for what my needs will be. which is basically internet and gps.
