Help me!My processor keep in 800mhz all time!

    Like this image...

    A heve a Acer a0751h 250gb 2 gb...On Xp

    On System Is 1.45 on the setfsb to....

    Keed in 800mhz,runing superpi,or in 100 % load.......

    Super pi time is 3 mim :oops:

    Anybody have a idea?

    One thing to check is the powersaving settings under windows. Some of the low power modes lock the processor at a slower speed.

    If that's not the issue, I would try setting the FSB back to its default speed. Maybe it is going to 800 MHz due to instability?

    I try all profiles of energy....

    I try reinstal windows end nothink.....

    On my cumputer show 1.333mhz...but ein occt and cpu z only 800....

    end the pc mark ins a 505 minus if the outher in this forum...

    i make crazy here......

    heplsss somebody...

    I'm very glad to hear it! I was about to suggest that you go into the BIOS and return all options to default. I'm glad it worked itself out.


    Now if only we could figure out this whole freezing / powerloss issue! My system is plagued with it. Others too. I am not confident that the Acer repair techs will be able to fix the problem.

    to me..resolve the speed problem.....go in energy end put the profie On...restar...end the 1.333 was back....
