I have just recently bought a unit of Acer One Aspire (AO 110-L08b) with
    the following specs,
    -1GB Memory
    -8GB SSD
    - and a free 4Gig SD Card.

How can I install Windows SP3 without a snag?
I hope one can be kind enough to guide me methodically since I am bit
confused with a lot of conflicting posts in the forum.

    Thanks.

well, I am attempting the exact same thing as you, but am not very successful. I formatted the 8GB SSD memory into 1 NTFS partition, then installed XP Pro with SP3.

The install too forever, and the computer runs so slow, it really is laughable. I had downloaded the Acer drivers for it too - graphics, audio, etc. Some don't even work - I can't get the audio working, but was able to get the WiFi going and the microprocessor and graphics drivers to install - this helped performance only marginally.

I am going to attempt the install once more with a FAT32 format - some people seem to think this is the issue?

I'll let you know what happens...
