Help on wifi under Ubuntu netbook edition

    Evening all ive just installed Ubuntu 10.04 on my AAO (512mb Ram & 8Gb SSD), now from reading the forums I know the atheros wifi card doesnt work straight out of the box, ive had very intimittent access with sucess over a wired connection to update ubuntu and thats about it.

    Can someone please help me with what I need to download/modify, I know how to get into a terminal window but I am in no way experienced with linux so I need simple instructions!
