    Hey guys,

    I'm currently running XP and thinking to explorer my first OSX experimental. Just would like ask some help:

    1. Should I do what has been suggest on the forum - installing X and XP separately on two different partitions? or
    2. Install X and run XP with Virtual PC?

    My knowledge is very minimum and only have XP experiences.

    Thank you guys! :)

    Instead of VirtualPC, use Parallels Desktop, VMWare or Virtual Box.

    VirtualPC is dead. In any case, I don't think the Atom is powerful enough to run a virtual machine but I haven't tried it yet.

    If you want to just dabble with OS/X, then you could install it on an external hard drive and run it from there.

    You don't get it : he'll be running /XP/ in a virtualization software, not Mac OS X.

    Thank you for all the replies so far! Really appreciated!

    Hey SbM for the reply! So you are recommending install OSX then run window with Parallels Desktop, VMWare or Virtual Box. And not installing XP and OSX on separate partition.

    I got the same hhd as you. 30Gb Toshiba. You got any good recommendation on the partition size?

    @Murgatroid
    I might give that a try. Wouldn't it be slower on an external hhd?
