    i install Mac Leopard Kalyway 10.5.2 this message: "Still waiting for root device" ?
    what Problem ?

    I haven't found a solution, but that is the cause of the problem.

    Download(use Google) and install IOATAFamily.kext from a USB key and you're set. I just got it working that way last night. You can boot to the installer CD and then launch Terminal and use it to put the kext in place.
