Help with 22" monitor.

    Hello, I have Xubuntu on my Aspire One and a problem. Sometimes I try to hook up my 22" DVI monitor to my aspire one. I have to of course use an adapter for that but there is no picture. It is plugged in because it doesn't have that "Check Cable" message, it's just blank.

    I've seen on another forum a discussion about 1680x1050 with Aspire One and "it worked fine" - no more information given.

    Should be noted that the FN+F5 key to "switch" to the new monitor doesn't work on Xubuntu even with the Aspire One kernel.

    Any thoughts, help or comments are very much appreciated. :)
