I have installed on my Aspire one linux linpus version.....MPlayer ...Media Master...and I have just installed VLC....I have tried to get the video playback to show but no joy...audio but no vision.....i have went into the add remove programs of the desktop drop down menu.......and tried switching on "sound and vision"but the updates come back with an error message sayin that they can't all be installed ...tried rpm fusion fixes but no joy....now the final part is I've recently did a recovery after a bad mem stick froze my machine ....and before I did this I had VLC working no problem at all.........anyone any ideas ....I'm getting really frustrated.....
