    help needed PLEASE...all i want to do is purchase an acer aspire one notebook mainly for use while travelling...so many models...aoa 150 a6 or aoa 150aw , aod150-1165 and so and so ...can some one out there just tell me which one to get...price is important..thanks

    XP/1GB RAM/160GB HDD is the best solution, I think (A150).

    Yes, it's definitely worth the extra cash, Even if money is an issue. Because.
    Doesn't the SSD have only 8Gigs of storage capacity? And it's slow
    The HDD version has a 120 Gig hard drive @ 5400 rpm and 8 megs cache.

    Another advantage is Windows. The licenses are usually pricey compared to Linpus Lite (which is free, I think.). So if you want linux, just get the better PC and put in on there.

    The hard drive spins at 5400RPM and has only 8MB cache.
