You turn it over and look on the label - It says the model number there.
8.9" screen models = ZG5 = Aspire One A110 (SSD models) or Aspire One A150 (Harddisk models).
    10.1" screen models = ZA5 = Aspire One D series.

Holy run-on sentence Batman. Did someone steal your shift, comma, period and enter keys off the keyboard ?

If you have the version of the A150 with a 3G modem installed from the factory, you can insert a SIM card in the Sim slot behind the battery, and use the 3G modem to connect.

If you do not have the version with a 3G modem installed from the factory, you need to either mod the internals of the netbook to include a Mini-Pcie connector for the 3G modem and a SIM card reader, or use an external USB 3G modem.

As for not knowing much about them, you should start by reading the quickstart manual. It is included in the box the netbook came with, and can also be downloaded from the Acer website in PDF format. Since you have the harddisk model with WinXP Home, any good reference on XP should also be of help to you, if you don't have any previous experience with Windows XP. If you have any questions pertaining the Aspire One netbook itself, search the forums, since chances are high that others have asked and answered them allready. If you can't find the answer on the forums, then feel free to post a question in the right section of the forums.

Just to be on the safe side, in case that the dialect of the English language used at your area of residence really is written like you did, I'm translating it to that version of English as best I can :

yes it is a good model simcard only if bought with 3G option else mod or use external your wife is sweet giving gifts read up on it and search forums for information before posting questions others have also asked and asnwered before hope this helps your welcome
