I'm having a problem. When I close the lid, or select stand by from the start menu, the screen goes black, but the power light stays green. If it is unplugged, the battery drains. If it's plugged in, I have to press the power button un til it shuts down to restart. HELP!

There might be a lot of reasons for such behaving, mostly it is caused by USB devices, or even by a webcam driver. Check here

I had the same problem....if you search here there's some subject about the webcam. you need to uninstall it and reinstall it as a USB device.... right now the driver for it is some Chinese...thing.... and it stops the pc from shutting down, or being able to be brought back out of it when you do close the hatch or standby.

Quick search here should help. It's a simple fix and i've not had one problem since!
