    Hey all,

Firstly, if this is in the wrong section I apologise, secondly i searched the forum and didnt come across a solution for my problem.

When i turn on my computer from hibernation it first trys to boot from realtek lan or something(for the record my computer is not on a wireless or cable network). then i have to turn off the computer, then it resumes from hibernation properly. it is a pain to do this every time. when my computer is not in hibernation, booting is fine and never goes into that realtek thing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hmm

First, do you have a swap partition big enough to support functional hibernation?

Also, some more info would be needed, such as OS and details on that "realtek lan or something".
