Hiren Boot CD (image your aspire)

    Download Hiren's Boot CD (version 9.x by now I guess). Anyway. Open up a piratebay and search for this thing. Download it. You can burn it to a boatable CD/DVD or a bootable partition in your USB stick.

    On it you have all the tools you ever dreamed about. Read/Write NTFS. tons of partition tools, pw recovery tools and the list continues about a mile :) Check it out at link below.

    Anyway on it also 3 image programz, Ghost, Image Center and Arconis. Pick one (ghost most accesible) image your disk to the usb stick and if you ever need to restore your aspire just put the image back. 1-time image, lifespan of enjoyment. Have fun. Oww. And why not rid your acer of the naggy restore partition along the way ;) )

    I could do with a copy of the recovery image for the 120GB XP version... Mine is bricked it would appear.

    If there is anyone who would oblige, i'd be very grateful :)

    Shame, this one almost lasted a week!
