How do i fix acer maill, calender and contacts?

    I want to know how to fix acer's software after i installed pidgin and forgot about the problem with installing it. I dont want to use a recovery disc as i ve got to many files to back up and program installed.

    Not quite the answer you may be looking for - but the combination of Thunderbird (email client from the Firefox stable) and Lightning (calendar add-on) does email, tasks and calendar stuff - and isn't tied to Acer's way of setting up Linux!

    thanks i was wondering where there was a calender thing around
    cheers

    i did a recovery and the acer mail and things didnt work so i installed thunderbird on and trying to find pidgin.
