    I have a mac and not sure how I would go about making a USB reinstall thingamabob for my acer one.

    I have the backup CD, I've copied all the files over to the USB stick, but I dont think Im doing it right.

    Can anyone help an idiot?

    I assume you are using http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/12/acer ... y-dvd.html and your AOA is still running. (If not forget the DVD and use Macles because it is a more recent version.)

    "To use it just run the commands below and select the drive, which must be 2GB or more. Note that all data on the USB drive will be removed.

    wget -O aa1rlinux http://sites.google.com/site/aa1recovery/1/aa1rlinux
    chmod 755 aa1rlinux && sudo ./aa1rlinux

    If the ISO is already present in the same directory as the aa1rlinux binary AA1RDI will just use that file"

    Basically, copy files to a AOA directory and make the USB Flash Drive.
