How do I mount an OS X HFS+ formatted USB hard drive?

    I've tried hfsplusutils but that doesn't seem to work, doesn't recognize the drive as an HFS+ volume, although the same drive mounts on both the mac and a friend's Ubuntu box.

    Any ideas? I can't be th only person wondering how to do this...

    Don't have a Mac, but you might check to see what hfs-related software your friend's Ubuntu box has.
