how do i restore to factory settings

    i have an acer aspire 5920g and it is going wrong all the time. Now it takes ages to get to my account once password has been put in. Then there is more trouble when i do get on my account. Too many viriuses in the past must of done some damage. I need to know how to reset this computer to factory setting so as to start afresh. Have gone through this forum but have not seen any thing on how i can do this so please help

    Under "All Programs" after you click on the Windows icon in the lower left of the screen, you should have an "Acer" folder. Click on that and there should be listed "Acer eRecovery Management". This utilizes Acer's hidden recovery partition "PQService". You can restore your computer to factory/default settings this way. Also using the same program you can create/burn a Factory Default Disk to keep separately in the event your hard drive goes bad or if the hidden partition gets deleted. It is highly recommended to create a Factory Default Disk as early as possible before making any modifications to your computer.....hope this helps. Good luck!
