Hi, i'm really new to linux, so please forgive my ignorance.

How do i copy a DVD to file, then use my flash drive to transfer it to the SSD of my AA1?

And once i have the file on the AA1, how do i watch it?

I'll be using a Windows PC to copy the DVD, so which format should i copy the DVD in, so that it'll be readable by the Linpus AA1 to watch?

All i want to do is watch a DVD, how hard can it be??????

    Thanks for your help.

What you need is a DVD .iso file - I haven't Windows here, but I'm fairly sure the usual things like Nero will make a .iso file from a DVD.

Then you put that file onto a SDHC card or a USB stick - you'll probably need quite a big one.

I'd then suggest installing the media player vlc, which can definitely play and .iso file as though it was the original DVD.

Thats excellent news... thanks very much, i thought it had to be quite easy, but being unsure of Linux i needed to ask.

    Thanks again...
