how do you add icons

    i have an 8gb sapphire blue with linux lite, how do you add an icon ie. skype to the connect batch of icons on main desktop? also i use firefox 2 is firefox 3 ok to use on this A110b ??

    I am unsure about FF3 - i have heard reports of it breaking the OS or causing problems or something. Have a search around on the fourms for a more definitive answer.

    Remember, regardless of how confident you are in what you are doing, backup!!!

    Please don't uninstall FF2 before installing FF3, it's the logical thing to do, but the script 'cleans up' a file called 'desktop - go-home' (or something like it) which breaks the OS completely)

    FF3 install is a 'how to' somewhere else on the forum
