Hello. it\'s about Aspire ONE 110 with Windows XP
I have instaled VGA driver v6.14.10.4926 and it's working good.
But i have a question - then my netbook working on battery (not pluged for AC power), my videocard switching into powersave mode. It's normal, but i want to off this function tie-to-time.
For example for gaming or seen HDTV on my road. I gaming and see HDTV perfectly then it's pluged into AC power.

I opened Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver -> Graphic properties.. ..on tab named "Display settings" i found button "Power settings".
I press it, but in the new window all values are grey (disabled/off)!

And how i can to off or on any video powersettings? This is my question.. How? I'l waiting for your answer.
On the internet forums i found lot of peoples, who search for this quest.
I emailed on acer.com but theys are not anwer me about this.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you want to affect options like when the computers shuts off the display. You would find that option under desktop -> screen saver -> power management. If I misunderstood you, I apologize...

I don't think the GMA950 has any power saving features, it may be just your CPU going in lower speed, make sure your power profile is set to Portable/Laptop or minimal power management

no, and sorry for my english

i thinking about it and what i test: i test aspire by Everest (http://www.lavalys.com/). I have the SAME results in all tests (mem, cpu, fpu) on battery mode and with AC.
    For example one of them:
    READ MEM 3793 mb/s
    WRITE MEM 2832 mb/s
    COPY MEM 1089 mb/s
    WAIT MEM 121.5 ns
    CPU QUEEN 3520
    CPU PhotoWorXx 2249
    CPU Zlib 8433 kb/s
    CPU AES 1838
    FPU Julia 536
    FPU Mandel 128
    FPU SinJulia 285

Then i think this is not CPU or MotherBoadr power-save problem. Who else? I'm not stop on it..
I run 3DMark 2003 on my Aspire one 110: And i have value 724 points with AC power and have 723 points on battery power!
Why the brightness of my aspire display to decrease, then i disconnect my AC cable all times? Whos rule this? I think - it is videodriver!

PS My BIOS ver. now is 3304. But on 3114 was same problem.
