I have tried with no luck at all to get my webcam working (fresh install XP Pro SP3), depsite it showing up as being installed & working in device manager (mic works ok)

As I want to sell it, as a last resort I thought I would buy a replacement from eBay for less than £5.00, but I have no idea at how to go about it.

There is a post on here to remove the bezel, but the photos are no longer showing up and the post has been locked.

Is it a fairy simple process?

    Any comments gratefully received.

Here is the manual for the D150. It has pictures showing how to disassemble.
    http://rapidshare.com/files/259761208/AOD150_030309.pdf.html
Starting on page 80 shows how to take the screen apart to get to the camera.
Remove the screw covers in the 4 corners, remove 4 screws, pry apart cover from case.
I used a old credit card on the outer edge to take it apart.
Then remove the 2 screws holding the camera, and unplug it from the connector.
    Put it back together.

It should work, but if you've still got a warranty, why not send it off with Acer?

It's over 18 months old and it only came with a 12 month warranty :(
