how to connect to the Net ?

    Hi,
    I have a dial-up connection + a wired LAN with fixed ID
    How can I give an ID number and a name to this computer ?

    Go into NetworkManager (should be an icon down on the taskbar) and edit the settings for 'LAN0'. You should be able to enter the correct IP and DNS information for your network in there.
