how to copy paste files into folder that is restricted

    I'm trying to copy new screenlets into the screenlets folder in usr/local/share/screenlets but it is restricted and won't let me paste how can i do this? Is there any termain command to copy files from home/downloads to usr/local/share/screenlets?

    Open terminal and type "sudo thunar" to launch file manager in super user mode. Afterward you can copy and paste also into folders requiring root permissions - but as root you can damage your system - pls be careful what you copy and delete.
