I downloaded Picasa 2.7 onto my new "One". Now I can't find it. I've looked at some videos that people have posted, hoping for help, but no luck. I'm not terribly computer savy, so please be clear if you have an answer. I'd like to add it to my "Fun" box--that seems to make sense as that is where the other photo program is. I just need a reasonably easy way to access my Picasa program. I'm used to XP, so this will take a little getting used to.

    Thanks so much!!

OK, I figured part of it out. Here's how it goes: Open "my files". Right click in the open window to the right of the folder listings. Click "terminal". Then, type in (after the pre-existing text): xfce-setting-show.

Click on Desktop to get to desktop preferences and choose the behavior tab. Mark under Menus, the Show Destop menu on right click. Close the window.

Then, go to the main desktop screen and right click, "run program", and type in the name of the program. In my case: Picasa.

Now, how do I add the shortcut to the desktop in place of the existing "photo master"?

Hi...I think you have to add a statement in one of the XML.
There's a post about having a shortcut for VLC in this forum...try that... ;)

I have no idea what "you have to add a statement in one of the XML.
There's a post about having a shortcut for VLC in this forum" means. What is a "XML" and what is "vlc". I'm OK with following directions, but I don't know what most of this means.

    Thanks for interpreting for me.
