macs use the apple key extensively as course to cut paste, close apps , etc . so how can i re map the windows flag key to apple macs key (the 4 box squiggly one)?

do i install that advent kext keyboard layout? but would all my other keys map properly?

OS-X installs its standard key layout which puts the Command (Apple) function on the Alt
key of AAO (or any PC) keyboard. Similarly the Option (Alt) function lands on the Windows key.

Now I come from a Mac background, so I was happy to flip the keytops over on the keybd.
But if you are from Windows or Linux experience, you may need to remap those key functions:

In OS-X go to SystemPreferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard -> Modifier Keys...
NB Option = Alt, Command = Windows, and for background on that funny symbol

Anybody knows how to remap the right "ctrl" key so that it works as a enter key like on a MBP?
