    Just a quick update...

I ran Netbook Installer again and enabled hibernation, followed your instructions and updated Chameleon to r658, but the system just restarts when I try and make it hibernate. This is all with the vanilla kernel. Do I have to use Voodoo kernel to get this working?

Has anybody else had any success with this?

Just try a different kernel, what you want to do is copy the kernel to the root folder name it mach_kernel.voodoo (rename it before copying it to the root folder)

when you boot up the system again press any key to be able to enter codes

    enter this mach_kernel.voodoo

This way you can try the voodoo kernel without changing your setup

when you get your desktop open up the terminal and type uname -a to verify that you are running the voodoo kernel
