    Hi there,

It may be that you are at maximum volume for the speakers but it may also be that there are some other settings that can be increased.

Can you please let us know which operating system you are running as that will allow us to tailor the response to where the settings may be buried.

    Cheers

    Paul

    Hi John,

Unfortunately my knowledge of Linux could be written on the back of a postage stamp.
I'm sure someone with more Linux knowledge will be along shortly and be able to help you better.

You could also try asking a mod to move this to the Linux section as I think tht would be more appropriate and gain you more hits.

What are you using as the media player ? .. as it may have its own volume control.

    Open a terminal, and run:
    Code:
    alsamixer
use the arrow key till "Speaker" is highlighted in red, then use the up arrow key to set it to 100% (or so) .. then do the same for "PCM" .. you may want to do the same for "Headpnones" too ;)
