Perhaps it's somewhere out there, or rather in here, and I've missed it:

is there a guide explaining how to install MS Office on an Aspire One? Copying my CD into a USB flash drive didn't work. Someone suggested I needed an ISO image of MS Office first. Has anyone done it this, or indeed any other, way successfully?

BTW, I know MS Office will take up a lot of space - I only need Word on my Acer, so that should be OK.

    Thanks,

I installed Office 97 by putting the CD in an external USB CD burner. No problems.

Can you put your One on a network with another pc? That makes it easy.
