    Hi
    I'm new here.Glad I've found the forum

I just purchased Acer Aspire One D250-OBb.

At home I use the WiFi

When travelling I use an Orange Mobile Broadband stick-£5.00 a month

I was told that I can istall the sim card from this stick in to the Acer.

Is this correct and if so,before I take it apart, how do I install it please.?

    TIA

It depends on whether your Acer Aspire One has a built in 3G modem.
If it has a built in 3G modem, then the SIM card holder is behind a slit, located behind the battery, in the battery bay. Just turn off the Aspire One, unmount the battery and you will see a slit in the battery bay, where you can insert the SIM card into the SIM card holder.

Beware though, if your Aspire One doesn't have the built in 3G modem, it will still have the slit in the battery bay, there will just not be any SIM card holder for the SIM card behind the slit. The slit will just have a strip of black tape on the inside to prevent pushing a SIM card in.

    Thank You DutchDK

Could not find any slit under the battery but, not to worry, the stick will do.
