No matter how I deactivate all power management options, the netbook goes into sleeping mode after some time, and disconnect my dwnlds.
I'm running Linpus on an AAO with 1.5 GB ram and 120 GB HDD.
Note : external power supply is hoocked up.

Settings > Display Settings > Screensaver > uncheck 'Activate screensaver when computer is idle'.

    Thank You, chowwuikeung.
    Where do I find : "Settings > Display Settings > Screensaver > " ?
I have tried in display menu with both XFCE & Compiz settings manager, all I find is the screen resolution with only 1024x600 option.
I have installed desktop switcher, & "advanced "hack" mode.

On the main screen, there are 4 categories: Connect, Work, Fun and Files. Underneath/below the Files category, there is a Settings and Help button.

In the parameters window when I click a new window opens with oly the resolution & display output choice.
Nothing about screen saver or sleeping mode management.
If ther is a way to turn this off with the command line, it would be fine for me.

    Problem solved !

I just made a live update, & reboot, now a button "économiseur d'écran" (screensaver in French), gives access to the config panel. :)
I've tried to live update before, but it did not work, because the connection got turned off in the process.
Keep on improving accessibility, and ergonomy for this really neat mini laptop.
Make sure to make ram upgrade easier (I' lost the little black flat cable lock on the touchpad, and it's not working anymore).
I'm always using a wireless mouse anyway, so I'll fix it later (I'll weld it with my blow torch) ;) :ugeek:
