    Hi Guys,

I've created a FAT32 partition on my AA1 so that I can access it from both Linpus and XP (dual boot machine).

I'm having a problem accessing the partition under Linpus.

I create a folder /mnt/home/Share and enter the following line in fstab

    /dev/hda4 /mnt/home/Share vfat rw,umask=000 0 0

If I open Thunar as root then I have access to the partition, but I cannot gain access as user.

I've tried adding uid=gid=500 but still no joy.

    HELP???!!!!

Could also be that some directory in your /mnt/home/Share hierarchy only has root privileges.

Note that you need "o+rx" ACLs on a directory to allow any user to list the contents of the directory.
