I had broke my LCD screen on my 8.9" screen, checked multiple sites, and here in the US, we are told/suggested that if a site does not look safe, do not order.... after several days, I finally decided that due to price, I would order from a 3rd party thru amazon.com... I wanted the screen ASAP, decided on expedited shipping, got overnighted I supposed, ordered on Saturday got on tuesday. I already checked thru all forums for LCD replacement here as to not post a question a second time.., none tell how to do the job, many show pictures of acer breaking the screen. and everyone says it is easy to do, so what are the instructions, or, where do I look up the information, is there a youtube video that tells. I know that the cable is an issue, but if that becomes an isue, I just might contat acer for the part. oh, and when I contacted acer for help, it would cost $199.00... the computer cost $298.00 new this part febuary 5, 2009. I got the screen with overnight shipping for $75.00. but i have no idea what to do after removing the screws and how to prevent problems.
