    For me:
    1. touchscreen
    2. 360 flip screen, like tablet
    3. Ubuntu out-of-the box
    4. Easy expandable ram
    5. bigget and faster ssd

    It was perfect...

    1. Easier-to-get-to ram slot

    2. Matte finish

    3. I'd swap the sides the regular SD card slot & single USB port are on; most people are righties, so trying to use an external mouse w/ something else sticking out can be annoying - if you had the single usb slot and rarely-removed expanded storage SD card slot on the right, it's alleviate that.

    4. Definitely use a SSD w/ faster write speeds.

    5. I don't know if this is just my Aspire One or what, but the battery light only turns amber & blinks when it is just about dead - I'd like an earlier warning, or perhaps something like green -> amber -> red -> red blinking.

    6. Keep the form-factor the same, but make the screen fit the bezel - I'm sure they could fit 1280 horizontal pixels in there...

    7. Make the grooves to slip your finger in to lift the lid a bit easier to get into, or add a latch and a slight spring-loaded lift design.

    8. Eliminate the WiFi on-off switch - you can disable the adapter from w/in the OS, no need for the switch.
