Howto: Install Ubuntu Netbook Remix and Special Kernel

    Hey guys,

    The problem I seem to be having with this is that my netbook, using the find command like you said before, will not find the downloaded image. It refuses to acknowledge that it is there, despite it being one of only two files in the folder i directed it to, and it still picks up the other file!

    Anyone got any ideas on this one?

    When I tried to make the USB I got a response saying 'connection refused' yet lights flash and it does copy 1.1gb to the USB. However, when I try to boot from th USB I get a message 'Error 1`' and the system freezes. Can anyone help please?

    Managed to install Ubuntu Remix on basic AAO, 512 Mb & 8Gb and very pleased with result. However the link in the original post to the sickboy kernel no longer works. Can anybody give me an easy link to the appropriate .deb file please.
