This is the second HP laptop ive had hinge issues with! My x360 envy has the HP hinge problem, right side the mounts have snapped off i suspect. I've spent weeks searching for replacement lid but they all come back as non-compatible. I've checked on HP warranty and i have Care Pack active until April 2025 Once i got through the nightmare system of automated telephone system I then get accused of dropping or damaging my laptop so its not covered! Furious is not the word, given this is a known fault and weak point to dare suggest ive damaged it really got my back up. HP need to sort this out because i'm not the only one who this has failed on. Has anyone got a repair out of HP for this known issue?
