HSDPA Card

    Can I remove the wireless lan card and install this instead?

    Who is your carrier?? If you are on Europen carriers they require SIM card to run any GSM/GPRS device. As far as I know SIM card slot is installed only when GSM/GPRS card is build-in to the laptop and is connected to only one miniPCI-e slot designed to install 3G card. In any other case you need to perform further modifications. On top of that this card uses USB signals to operate plus pin 20 which switches radio ON/OFF. I do not know if them signals are available in miniPCI-e you want to use...
