    Hi Friends,

Recently i bought Aspire One 11'6 Netbook. It has Windows 7 starter as preloaded in complete hard disk. I want to format that hard drive and need to load Windows XP.

Wile installation i am not able to see the Hard disk partitions. And it is showing that "No Hard disk" found. And the installation get stops showing an error.

Can any one tell me how to install Windows Service pack 2 in Aspire One 11'6 Netbook.

    Regards,
    Bhaskar.

    Either:
    1. Integrate the SATA text-mode drivers into your XP installation media
    or
    2. Enter the BIOS settings and put the SATA controller into IDE mode instead of AHCI mode and leave it as that
    or
    3. Do suggestion 2, but after windows is installed you can then do some tweaking and re-enable AHCI mode, you'll have to search the forums to find the thread on how to do that.
