I just wrote a how-to for the D250. Need help? Want to help?

So I just got a D250 and started the Ubuntu 9.04 install. I decided to try my hand at documenting the process since I was doing the research anyway. I got almost everything working except the wifi switch+LED(don't care) and the internal microphone(ain't tried yet), I didn't test the SD slot(no card) or the external monitor so they might not work either.

I'm now trying to figure out what models it applies to since the hardware specs look almost identical between the A150, D150, and D250. Of course sharing the same chipset/processor/video combination doesn't mean they work the same. Does anyone know the differences between these models so I can add them if appropriate?

Does anyone know for sure what controls the fan on these models? It acts like it is controlled in the BIOS.

My feed back is :

1. I would advise you use unetbootin to convert an iso image to a bootable USB. It is a graphical application,runs on multiple platforms, and thus I would link directly to the unetbootin home page (easier to find then reading through all the Ubuntu wiki pages).

2. No need to go through installing or really anything but information specific to the D250. Simply link to the graphical installation page and the existing wiki pages for installing software.

Does anyone know for sure what is controlling the fan? Or if the guts of the A150 and D150 are the same?
