I can't stand vista, but I think it looks pretty slick. Is there a way to swap out the entire XP icon set with the Vista one with out causing my brain to hemmorage?

That looks like an awful lot of hassle

    Just install this:

    http://www.crystalxp.net/galerie/en.id.130.htm

I've run it on 2 previous machines and can honestly say it doesn't slow down the computer at all, as it's just changes system files and images.

If I try the crystal XP bricopack do I have to manually select each icon to change them? I am not sure how to change the icon of an application or system file.

The bricopack worked like a charm! Did not slow anything down and looks exactly like Vista. Very cool. Thanks for the link!

Ok, how exactly is this done, and will it affect my Acer and take up too much space?

I installed the Vista Bricopack over a month ago and have had absolutely no issues at all. Nothing has slowed down, no problems with registry or anything else. The install was very easy as it loads itself. I installed it at work also and again have had no issues whatsoever.
