iATKOS S3

    Has anyone tried iATKOS S3 (v10.6.3)?

    I am trying to find and dl the version2... Hope it will work on my AOA150

    I just got through trying it. I think I prefer netbookmaker to S3. S3 feels a little sluggish. There is some cool stuff that comes in the iso though, I def will be keeping a copy around.

    Iatkos S3 does work on the AO 150, and the combo updater to 10.6.4 works just fine too! Compared to Iatkos V7 it is harder to reconfigure. I believe sleep works with S3, however it needs another kext for that. I have a running version of 10.5.8 on another partition but it doesn' support apple's spiffy new magic trackpad.

    So right now I need to enable the keyboard, sleep, 1024 x 600 resolution. It is doable but I really need an example of the Iatkos S3 customize menu. Unlike V7 it appears you need to reinstall the OS to change/add kexts, which I really don't want to do. I can add the kexts via kext helper but need to find the right ones. Anybody know where they might be?

    Where did you find the guide to install it? I try several times to install it and always had the same problem: after the first boot the sounds is good, but the screen goes grey. It doesn't show anything. =(

    It has been a while so I don't remember exactly what to tweak. I think you can try cpus=1 and -f on the command line. If that doesn't work add -x. My problem is that I don't know exactly what kexts to select for the AO 150.

    In my AO751h I cannot boot the install dvd, it freezes without any kernel panic ... just stop. I'0ve tried -x, cpus=1, mach_atom kernel, arch=i386, busratio=10 (taken from Z520 specs) but nothing the iatkos S3 v2 dvd does not boot.
    Any idea?

    on my AO happy, im using IATKOS S3 V2 with chameleon 2-RCr619.. installation process flawlessly.. after reboot.. i cant get in to osx..
    before using chameleon, im using netbookbootmaker 0.8.4 RC1.. installation success.. but i got kernel panic.. sigh.. really need big help..
