    Hi all,

Firstly, I'm fairly new to all this and pass on a huge thanks to all those that know tons of stuff who have helped me when I've been stuck. What I have achieved may not be that valid to most but may help out some other newbies!!

Just wanted to let you know that I have successfully update my AAO A150 with iDeneb 10.5.8. Firstly, I installed iDeneb 10.5.6 following instructions found in this forum. I then upgraded to 10.5.7 using the iDeneb upgrade kit and followed the instructions here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index. ... pic=129774 to get the system working including screen resolution.

I then upgraded to 10.5.8 using the iDeneb upgrade kit and followed the same instructions as 10.5.7 and all works well. Sound, resolution, installing programs, iLife, Office, etc...

It is also dual booting with windows 7.

It's downloading now, but I don't really won't have the time to commit to it until next month.

That being said; reading the iDeneb website yesterday it seems to be a pretty stable release without any quirks.

I'm installing iDeneb v1.6 Lite Edition right now, am no expert, but on the customize part of the install there is no option to choose various netbooks, at the moment I'm guessing what components to install and what to exclude :( and atm failing miserably :(

Why not do a bit of research and find out the components the AAO has.
Ill startyou off, the 9 and 10 inch aao's have a GMA950 graphics chipset.

This is what i pick to install ideneb 1.6 lite edition on my acer aspire one one a150 (ticks are pre selected, blue is what you need to also select).

After install is done you need to install the GMA950 drivers within mac (disc ones don't work properly).Sleep and the wireless doesnt work at the moment, i'm looking into it
