im new and have a question about linux

    ok so here is my question. i have a desktop with a fried hard drive. could i buy a new hard drive and a bootable flash drive with linux on it. and install it onto the hard drive.

    Sure. All my Linux installations on my AOA150 were done from bootable flash drives. I'd install the hard drive first, just to be sure all the hardware is correctly detected by the Linux OS you intend to install.
