    Hello,

I was wondering if there's any way to prevent game/video stretching in fullscreen mode. I prefer the original aspect ratio but with the black bars on both sides instead.

    Cheers

    EDIT:
I figured I'd give more information. Using NVIDIA video cards/drivers, there is an option in the settings to scale with "fixed aspect ratio" which would keep the aspect ratio of the original video/game, and have black bars on the sides of the display if the screen is widescreen but the video/game is 4:3. I was wondering if the intel GMA driver is capable of something like this too, or if not, if there are 3rd party software available that can emulate this.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

the same option is also available in the Intel drivers. Here are the two ways to access it :

via right-click anywhere on your desktop

    or through the intel panel
