ok, when you put it into Fn+Esc, make sure you press the power button once. Also, be sure to rename the bios file to ZG5IA32.fd

What system you use?? If Windows can you just use Windows application for BIOS flash?? It's called Winflash...

Just because it takes little time, try removing the battery and holding the power button down for, at least, 30 seconds. Restart with ac plugged in.
Just a last ditch thing that has worked for some situations.

I guess going to the service center would be the best choice now. =D May cost you though unless it is still under warranty. If it is not the software (bios, OS), it must be the hardware.

I have a possible reason for "no flashing power light".

To get the flashing power light you need ESC and FN depress when pressing the power button. So if either the ESC or FN keys are dead, you get nothing.

I had a keyboard with a dead FN key so it is possible.

You can send me the motherboard and if I can not upgrade the Bios, I have like 5 motherboards that I can sell you.

I bought all these dead motherboard to reverse engineer some PCI lines, but they all recovered when I flashed the Bios...

    Solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did a last try.... i made myself sure the battery was dead.... i left it on with the power button on and the fan spinning until the battery died.

    then, blind flashing worked!!!!!

so, in conclusion.... for my AAO, blind flashing works with an empty battery.

I have a motherboard here which has no response to the Macles Bios Recovery, so I will try this...
