Improve mic and volume?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to improve/replace the microphone/volume software on the AAO running Linpus Lite?
    I've tried recently to record some videos with the webcam, but I have to turn the volume up to 90% before I hear anything and even at 100% the sound is barely audible and most of what I do hear is the fan.

    I was hoping the software/controls couold be replaced in a similar way to how the Kpowersave software can. (See this topic http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=3760)

    Anyone know how to do this if it is possible?
