In my defense, the class was really boring.

I was in the far back corner so it's safe to say nobody could see me nerding out.

ah, you can sort of see it--on the right side the laptop mouse usb is plugged in =P

No, I don't think I could have done it with the touchpad haha, the left and right click are so noisy.

You can just tap the pad to left click, and going into the mouse settings in the control panel you can set a corner of the touchpad when tapped to right click (or many other things like snap to start menu or top of window etc), I set the top right corner. Still not as good as a mouse but good enough. The keys on my AAO are really noisy too.

I take it the lecturer doesn't have an Aspire One? Would be funny if he was a forum user ...

We were learning about Adobe Acrobat Reader--zzz...

Oh? That sounds neat; I think I must be missing a driver or something because I don't seem to be able to set that but I will look into it!

    Thanks!

Oh that would be terrible, haha. And no, I don't think so--he had a black Macbook with him.
