Incompatability with ATT Laptop Device

    I use a Sierra "Mercury" USB 3G modem with my Aspire 1 -1165 Netbook using Sierra Wireless "3G Watcher" software w/ the Aspire's Windows XP OS.

    Unfortunately when I plug in and use a USB mouse with the Aspire/Mercury combination, the Mercury device switches off "3G" into its default "Edge" slower connection speed.

    Anyone know of a way to allow the two USB devices to "play nice" with each other?
