    Hi,

Inkscape is really demanding and is quite touchy about versions of its dependencies. I had a look and this appears to be a case in point. It seems to want an older version of Imagemagick. Or its perl bindings does.

It's possible to look into it a bit more, but I'm afraid I don't see the Aspire One as being cut out for vector drawing, unless you decide to run it connected to a big screen.

Inkscape is something I keep for my big noisy desktop.

    cheers.

I just purchased an Aspire One, mainly for working on projects during my train commutes, some of which require Inkscape. I'd very much appreciate any pointers on how to go about installing it. I don't mind the low-res - I've worked quite a bit on Flash and Photoshop using 800x600. :D

    Thank you,

    Hi,

I'm running Inkscape 0.46 without any problems.
    What version did you try?

    Good luck, Trumpetto

Thanks for your reply. I managed to get Inkscape installed, but I had to downgrade ImageMagick first.
