    Hey all.
I am pretty new to Linux.
At the moment I am running Linux4one on my AA1. I like it better than Linpus as far as function, but its maybe a little slow.

In the forums I see where people are liking their Sidux and Fedora 10 Xfcespin.

When I try to make a USB pen for booting I get nothing (for both).

Is there a trick to installing these distros?

I have the .iso for both but cant figure out how to get them over to the AA1.

I have a Ubuntu 8.10 desktop that I am using to write the USB pen.

    Thnks.

PS. allow me to add a bit more info:
I tried Unetbootin to make a Fedora 10 XFCE usb and it said "succesful install" within 1 second of pressing the "make usb" button...When I tried to boot it up on the AA1 nothing happens.
I also tried to use the Sidux custom usb maker, but it did the same thing as Unebootin.

For Sidux, the most reliable usb maker is the one on the sidux live cd.

Burn the iso onto a CD, and run the live cd on a computer that was a CD Drive. On that computer, open the sidux installer and go to the usb creator. Follow the instructions.

That's how I made mine, I'm running sidux on it right now.

    thanks for the replies.
I actually got the Fedora 10 Xfce to work (I had to add a 7zip package for unetbootin to function properly)
    I didn't really like Fedora 10 :|
I will try the Sidux solution at later date, thank you.
I am back to linux4one, but i have it tweaked to a pretty useable state now.
