Hi, I sort of have two questions wrapped in one, if anyone can answer.

I'm looking at dual-booting my AAO which came with xp with a 'lightweight' linux distribution for booting in a few seconds just to check email or whatever. I'm very inexperienced with linux, I've given UNR a go, but it wasn't really what I was looking for, too similar to xp which I want to keep for word and to play a few games on. I have learnt alot, and from research and trying live USBs I've decided on either Sli Taz or Moblin, and I'm not sure which to go with. I like the look and feel of Moblin, and it is quick, but some features feel a bit missing (it is only a beta). On the other hand, I love the performance of SliTaz, and I've seen screenshots where people have got it looking quite nice, but I'm having problems installing it.

So onto the questions! Which would people recommend? Slitaz or Moblin? Might it be a good idea to try triple-booting it, or would that diminish performance a bit?

I've tried to install Slitaz, but this is where I have a problem, it doesn't seem to want to from USB. The website has a work-around, but that doesn't seem to work, has anyone got any tips to help me? The error I get is effectively as it is anticipating to load it from a cdrom, but as the AAO doesn't have a CD drive it gets confused and cannot go anywhere in the process.

Hope someone can help, and I hope this hasn't been too wordy!
